The Positivity Blog

Everyone needs a little pick me up every now and then. Recently I came across a blog called ‘The Positivity Blog‘. This blog focuses mainly on personal development. We all develop certain behaviours to cope with different situations – this blog shows us how to deal with situations more effectively, with less effort involved.

The blog discusses the various How-To’s in life. Currently, some of the titles that hold my interest are:

Some people feel self-help is a sham, but if it helps you become happier, successful, and well liked – I dont see the harm in giving it a whirl 🙂

  1. I read the “why worry one” had some really good stuff in it. I need to quit worrying… im a stress monkey on most days.

  2. The best part is – its not telling you what to do – its suggesting ways of modifying behaviour – the path is shown to you, you need to adopt the teachings and implement them in ur daily life! its all about YOU, your happiness, your goals, etc.

  3. yep!! well hopefully i can do some of the “stop worrying” bit and see if i can relax….although in this nation…..doing business amongst all of this i dunno how it can work..

  4. Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind
Speak health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet
Make all your friends feel that there is something in them
Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true
Think only of the best, work only for the best and expect only the best
Be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own
Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements of the future
Give every living creature you meet a smile
Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticise others
Be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

  5. No, I didn’t write it. It’s called the Optimist Creed – all I have done is change the grammar so it’s an affirmation of what you are rather than a wish list of what you’d like to be!
