One mans protest against rising fuel costs, i found this on Adnan’s blog and KMB, thought it was striking. The day is not far away in Karachi i am afraid, when all of us will have to get bicycles to go to work. Hey perhaps it shall create new jobs, peddlers instead of drivers?
Something tells me you don’t want to here about rising fuel costs in my country . . .
. . . our own fault. Our version of economizing is to buy smaller vehicles – which we refuse to do – not bikes. Our gas guzzling is going to haunt us in generations to come. Then truly the middle east will have the last laugh on us.
